렛츠 스피크 코리안 Let's speak Korean!! Haha... that's the direct English translation of let's speak korean. Suddenly want to improve my korean again. I stopped my korean course because I thought I lost interest. After spending much time on Korea entertainment I've found my motivation back!
Watching TV programmes you would want to watch the people talking instead of having to look at the bottom of the screen for sub-titles. People spend more time reading the sub-titles than watching the movie itself. Kind of irritating right?
I guess the only way to start learning is probably speaking and reading more Korean stuff? Seems like the only way I can learn is through reading the news of korean celebrities. I can form interest out of being curious about what the news are trying to say. But most of the time I fall after reading the first sentence. Haha! Don't understand anything~~~
Following SuJu and other Korean celebs on Twitter seemed to help too! I get to read their korean posts, learn abit here and there, and sometimes I actually understand what they are saying!! Those are the times I feel I have improved. Kind of satisfying too!
I've been eyeing the LG Lollipop for awhile, only looking at its exterior. I happen to be able to touch and play with one at a LG store, and found out it can type korean!! I was so excited, I told myself I have to get one. Then I casually brought up to daddy by first asking which of our plans have reached 2 years. In our family, whoever's phone plan reaches 2 years, and if anyone is interested to change phone can change, even if you're not the owner of the plan. So I asked them this question and nearest I got was 1 yr 5 months. Then obviously they will raise the question back to me, "Why? You want to change phone?" So I said I was looking at one. Then I mentioned it was a LG phone, and I want it because it can type Korean. What surprised me was my dad's reply, "Go and get it lor!" I said, "Serious?" Then added that I would be using 2 different phones if I got the LG one. Dad replied "Ya, get it without plan. How much?" So I mentioned around $200-$300++. Throughout the whole conversation he was surprisingly relaxed. Usually if I wanted to get a new phone, I have to convince him for quite some time, talking my sense into him. This time it's so different. I really feel like I've grown up.
So many things I want to do, yet I coop myself at home most of the time. The other thing I can think about is the tattoo. Really want to get 1, but I don't know where to go to. So many planning to do when you reach this age. Planning through them with details like a responsible adult. Can't believe Im reaching 22 already.
Sigh. Lollipop and tattoo 기다려주십시오.
