So Hard...

Just have this sudden moment to talk about something. I just watched this programme on TV called 'Love Rescue'. It's a korean programme, basically like the Xiao Zhou and Hei Ren show years ago. They girlfriends who are having problems with their boyfriends to come in, they spy on their boyfriends. Most of the time their boyfriends are doing something bad behind their backs.

This episode I saw, this guy, SERIOUSLY the worst you can EVER meet. The moment he gets to know a girl, he gets close to her. The problem is, these girls actually fall for him, because he always act innocent and sweet in front of them. He will sweet-talk them into going out with him and be his girlfriends. Everytime he meets another girl, he pretends that he is single therefore the girl always get cheated. Is like, everytime he meets someone new, he tries to get rid of 1 of his other girlfriends. So it's like a cycle?!

They show sent a spy to 'seduce' him so as to show his true colors in front of hidden cameras. He boldly asks for the spy's number, and they quickly got to be bf/gf. They even made out in front of the cameras. Though I must say, the girlfriend who asks to be on the show to spy on him is kind of stupid and naive. How can you still be bf/gf if you can't even meet your bf for like a month?! They only met for 3 months, yet she's complaining and doesn't know a thing?! I mean, I've never been in a rltp before, but if your bf refuse to see you for a month, won't you suspect something already?! He kept sweet-talking her into staying with him, yet time and time again she buckles and gives in to him. WTH.

She seems to know him very well too, because apparently this guy also seduced her close friend. In the end she found out, cut off ties with her friend, and STILL want to be his girlfriend?! WTH x2. In the end guess what the show did to bust the guy? He called out another girl out, they got into a lift at 15th floor, then at 10th floor, the spy girl came into the lift; at 5th floor, the naive girlfriend walked into the lift. So he is faced by 3 different girls. At 1st floor, the lift door open to reveal the whole crew. Seriously, what is he to do?! He knows he got busted, but is he going to be humiliated right there and then on camera?! Anyway he walked out of the building without saying a word. The producers tried hard to get him to get interviewed, but he didn't want to (obviously, would you?!). In the end all he said was that he hoped the girl would find someone and stay happy etc. What else is he to say?!

The best part of the show actually came from the guy though. I clapped when I heard it. His friend casually asks how he manages to get so many girls to like him, and guess what he said. 'I read a book.' 'The book teaches you about dating. All the way from getting to know the girl to breaking up.' OMFG. Clap please.

Anyway, I think the whole show makes the girl look stupid lor. The guy's face got mosiac throughout the whole show so we can't even see his face. In the end, it's the girl who suffers the most, on and off camera. It's like she becomes the bad girl as well. Haiz.

After watching this programme it kind of make me think about how hard it is to find the right guy. People have so many faces they can choose to put on when they meet other people, sometimes you don't even know the person until you really get to know them. Finding the right partner is even worse. At times like this, I'd gladly stay single forever. Im the soft-hearted kind, and if I ever meet guys like above, I honestly don't know how I'd react. I mean, if I really really love him, would I be able to let him go?

Envious I stay, single I remain.

Alone at home

Been spending some alone time recently. Parents went to Malaysia since wednesday, be back sunday afternoon; bro as usual always out, can understand since he booking in on Monday!! Wun say I'd miss him, obviously I do, but can't wait to see him bald. Haha!

Being alone at home kind of reminds me what it'll be like if I ever move out to live on my own. You know the taking care of house part, sweep and mop floor, clothes washing and other stuff... at least I know how to take care of myself. Kind of like being alone too. Can laugh as loud as I want, can play music as loud as I want, can do whatever I want. I actually love being alone. Kind of crazy since I used to moan about being alone everytime on the blog. What a change! Am I really getting old?!

More videoing from 2PM, 2AM... I actually love them bunch already. I was really pro-SM Ent and anti-all other company, so never really expect myself to like them too. But I really do. They are totally different bunch of boys. More of the American 'must go gym work out and build on muscles' kind. Haha... they all seem to have great body. Anyway, no harm finding more idols to idolize right? Im single anyway... no bf to get jealous over.. haha!

Waiting for McD Breakfast, HUNGRY!

Youtubing Like Nobody's Business

Been busy youtubing these days. Seems like there's an infinite number of videos out there... there's NO WAY anyone could see them ALL.

It started with watching Kang Shim Jang awhile ago. I loved Jessica the moment I saw her on the show. Never really followed SNSD, but from Jessica I started knowing the other members as well (Didn't take long to memorise all their names too!) Thanks to years of training since SJ started.. haha! Then somehow it went onto SHINEE, leading to me going crazy over them, possibly watching all subbed videos on Youtube of their variety shows. Also got to know their songs too. As you can already hear, the song featured is by SHINEE called 'JoJo'!

From SHINEE I went on to watch 2PM as well. Forgot how I got to them, but members get split up that they will always somehow meet in the same show. So watched the 2PM Idol Army as well. Boy, was I blown away by their variety comedian antics too! So, as usual when to search their profiles, learnt their names etc. I followed SHINEE since they debuted, but stopped in the middle till they came onto Hello Baby! Those dorks were cute as ever, (not to forget the baby Yoogoon too!) that's why I got attracted to them again. Then with 2PM, you can never stray away from 2AM too. Though I didn't watch much of 2AM, but from JoKwon's 'marriage' to GaIn I learnt alot about 2AM too... also funny people.

Seems like idols these days can never live without being funny on variety shows. I always seem to like and remember the funny ones better. Those that will make you laugh till you cry... oh boy. I ended today's youtubing of Korean boy bands with BEAST! Also sort of watched them debut last year, they did their own MTV show, but couldn't find any subs on Youtube... shame. Would have luaghed my head off too... also a bunch of funny dorks. All of them are dorks!! And great to watch because most of them are younger than I am. Kind of ironic, but I seem to like younger boys these days... might be their influence. Naturally, guys' names seem easy to remember. I could still take in the occasional odd members in other groups, but they never really stand out like those I mentioned above.

Seriously gone Korean these days, had a long period of 'English songs only' moments, now it's the Korea period?! What's next?

Friday Night Live

Always get so much thoughts after watching the ArsenalTV Online Friday Night Live. I don't watch it 'LIVE' btw, coz that will mean me waking up at 2am and staying awake till 5am on Saturday morning. If not for the daylight saving time, it will be the usual 8hr difference which puts me awake from 3 to 6am.

The stuff that fans call in to voice their opinions on air always have me either agreeing or disagreeing with them. Somehow I always find myself agreeing with the 3 hosts for that Fans' Forum programme. I understand fans have different opinions about certain things, but I never expected the diversity of their thoughts. That's 1 thing fun about watching Fans' Forum. You hear absolutely everything, all about Arsenal of course. And sometimes it's fun!

Every friday there will always be players singled out for praises, or for criticisms. You either agree or disagree. Then at the same time, you actually form your own opinion after you hear what others have to say. It's like a realisation programme that makes you aware of what others are thinking. You're probably not the only one who thinks differently about a player. Add in the frequent funny statements and you have a rather complete programme. Not to mention the more professional look back and ahead into games at the start of this Fridat Night series - simply known as Friday Live. Basically a host is accompanied by 2 guests - usually ex-players, where they look back as well as ahead to coming fixtures. It's all professional there, talking about tactics, what went right and wrong on the last games, the possible line-up for next game etc. Pretty much on-pitch stuff.

In between you have an interview with a first-team player about on and off pitch stuff. It's more about getting to know the player better. Pretty relaxing and cool interview that players can talk about their slightly private stuff off pitch.

The whole programme just brings laughter and joy to me EVERYTIME. I always look forward to it every saturday and just spend 3hrs listening and watching... really great fun considering I subscribe to the ArsenalTV Online thing. Lovely bonus~

Congrates to Pompey for the great win over Arsenal's rival!

Morning~

Morning people! I've never blogged in the morning before... haha... took a little hiatus from Arsenal this week, am feeling a little guilty, but I'll get back to them soon definitely. Think about them every single day even if I dun look up on their news - Twitter remains me so much of them and their news even if I dun want to see (I follow quite a number of Arsenal-based Twitter accounts).

I didn't wake up to watch the 2nd leg at Camp Nou, maybe for obvious reasons. I did set my alarm though, checked the line-up on my Wi-Fi enabled phone and just lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. I just didn't feel like watching such an important match. I followed Twitter (once again) for all the updates, coz some people literally update every kick or event. It went like that until half time. Then I told myself, I have to watch the 2nd half no matter what happens. The score was already 3-1 by then, so I thought we had nothing more to loose anyway. So I 'napped' for that 15min break not to waste time waiting. In the end when I woke up, the 2nd half had already ended. Want to check Twitter for updates also cannot, coz Bro switched off the modem downstairs, so no internet connection. Couldn't even check the end result.

Then that night, probably thinking too hard on what the result could be, I had various dreams on what the result was. Stuff like Arsenal going through because they drew etc... they felt so real. Of course the next day I woke up, checked the scores again and realised we lost hard. Haha. I wouldn't say I hoped much, but the dreams made it felt possible. Either way I haven't regreted not watching even until now. Have a little trouble trying to watch the highlights as well. Stopped after B52 scored for Arsenal, then refused to watch Messi's 4 goals. I might in the future, but not now when there are no other matches to look at instead. Maybe when the season ends... haha!

I am a sore loser... I'll sulk the whole day the next day if we get a bad result. I wun throw my temper around or anything, just dun feel like talking to anyone too. I actually feel the disappointment of real fans. I'm proud to say im a real fan now~~ Haha...

Bendtner is the new hero! All hail!

Parachute

Im all for introducing new songs in my blog here. Haha... found another great one. It's called "Parachute" by Cheryl Cole. Most people wouldn't know who is Cheryl, but if you watch football, you would know her very well.

Anyway she started from Girls Aloud, now going solo in the mean time to release her solo album. I've never heard Girls Aloud songs b4, so was never really interested. I came across this song a few times, but never really caught up with the singer or the song. Until I heard it again last night, my dad had his computer on radio I think, then I fell in love with the song. Went to do a search, and was really surprised Cheryl Cole came up. I was expecting some American singer (no offence), but a British name came up. I've heard her 'Fight For This Love' b4, but this song was better I think.

The MV was even better. One of the best I've seen so far. I don't usually praise the MVs, but this one was nicely filmed. You can watch it here - Parachute. Anyway, they chose to do a ballroom dance theme to fit the song. It totally fits the song, not to mention Cheryl's partner in the MV was hot. Haha... he is also the chereographer for all the dance rountines in the MV. He's Derek Hough, you'd probably know him from Dacing With The Stars show. He appeared in a few seasons, (winning one), the latest season he is partnered with Nicole Scherzinger. Superb danceing skills... I don't see alot of blonde ballroom dancers, he is one of them.

Baby if I've got you, I don't need a parachute. You're gonna catch me, you're gonna catch if I fall.

T-ara

Got myself a new song!! Ok, it's only been a few days since I put 'Carry Out' on. But, I figure this song fits this blog interface abit better? Anyway this song is called "Like The First Time" or 처음처럼, by T-ara.

After months of advertising on TV, I FINALLY found the channel tvN on Starhub Cable. It's Ch 175 (for now) btw. It's just like MTV and Channel V, basically a music station, but tvN showcases solely korean music. Once again, being a music channel, I find myself having 1 more channel to surf. Usually when there's nothing on TV, I'll switch between the available music channels, hoping to hear and see some music videos.

So one day I switched over to tvN, and they were having a 1-hr special on girl bands in Korea. Basically they will showcase MVs made by current hot girl bands - the likes of SNSD, After School, T-ara, f(x), Brown Eyed Girls etc. I got to see the remaining 45mins of the show fortunately. I don't really follow girl bands, but I took the opportunity to listen to their songs first time. The MVs are a bonus. Korea seem to be at an all time high over girl bands currently, especially some of the catchy songs. I found out who sang what song, as well as the number of members in their band. Haha.

There were a few songs I quite like, but I never made a follow up (usually I'll search for the music online after listening to a song I like). But, it turns out, this 1 song just suddenly appear in my head a few days later. I kept repeating the chorus in my head, rendering it a hit (in my own world). So I decided to look for the song. Again, Youtube is really helpful.

And that's how I end up with this song on my blog! Haha... isn't it catchy?!

Lethargic

Feeling restless. Not going to dwell too much on how many hrs I slept. Nobody can sleep so well after that match last night. I specially went to bed at 11pm, but it didn't work. Not used to sleeping so early, and the match was all over my brain.

Bro apparently didn't sleep since he came back from work just before 12 midnight. He stayed awake until the kick off at 2.45am. That was when I woke up, not before I checked the line-up through my phone's Wi-Fi of course. Brought my barang barang stuff from bed (blanket and bolster) to the living room, coz I was feeling a little cold (from being nervous I suppose). There we were, sitting side by side on the 3-seater couch.

2 mins into the game and I already I feel bullish. 10 mins, 20mins... Barcelona TOTALLY controled possession! They were playing as if Emirates was their home stadium. Arsenal could only watch them do pass after pass, standing in the way to cut out routes, but can't get near them. Many reports were saying that's how other EPL teams feel when Arsenal play them - they never get a chance to play the ball. Basically its like Arsenal getting a taste of their own medicine.

Loads of chances created, loads of saves made by Almunia. Seriously, apart from his mistake in the 1st goal, he did so well in the 1st half that if not for him, Arsenal would have been down 5-0 even b4 the break. Ultimately, he got beaten, twice in the 2nd half. It was pretty bad after the 2nd goal went in. I was thinking to myself, "That's probably it. How are Arsenal gonna react?"

Theo came on for Sagna, and I wasn't expecting too much really. Theo made a few bright runs straight after he came on. Then, he scored. I wasn't jumping or celebrating or anything. That's because I was too shock to react. All I said was, "Woah." Bendtner had a great chance from a header (which the goalkeeper saved), and for that I had a huge reaction coz I too thought that was going in. But Theo's goal was like - "Did he just score a goal?" I looked at my bro and he had the same reaction too. Haha... so funny. That goal came at such a time that whole Emirates stadium was in roars, and I woke up to the hope that we can still get another goal. Great from Theo too, Capello was in the stands watching, and he needed to play more often with that kind of performance to prove that he can go to South Africa. He was the Super-Sub that night.

The blots of the night were that Cesc became injured. He duly took Arsenal's 2nd goal (a penalty) to keep the tie 2-2. He got booked in the 1st half, therefore he will miss the 2nd leg, which is a huge blow not just for Arsenal, but for him too. He is excited by the prospect of going back to his youth club ground and play, much like Henry coming back and play at Emirates last night. He was really upset. Since he wun be at Barcelona in a week's time, he tried his best to make an impact here. Funny enough, he did so much impact. not only did he take Pique (yellow carded for fouling Cesc) out of the 2nd leg, he also took Puyol out of the 2nd leg with a straight red (which resulted in the penalty taken by Cesc). In the end, he couldn't even put weight on his right leg after the penalty kick. He's just fantastic. Risk his own injury to help Arsenal in such a fashion. Luckily Barcelona were down to 10 ten men, so Cesc could afford to hobble around the pitch till full time. He was still up there waiting for goal scoring opportunities towards the end. He is the type that just wants to play all the time, even if he wasn't 100% fit. Great player, great captain. Hope he doesn't get punished too hard for leading the team on, hope he recovers soon.

Nasri was really great in the 1st half too. He made runs into defence and created a few chances. Bendtner may not have gotten too much on the ball, but his assist to Theo's goal, and header to Cesc which set up the penalty was important too. A pity Arshavin and Gallas came off in 1st half due to injuries. Made the boss sweat over the 1 remaining substitute. He couldn't bring Cesc off because he subbed Theo in as the 3rd and last substitute. There goes our injury list again. New worries to worry about too. Haiz.

On a side note, Nadal played really well against Tsonga. He played his game and waited for Tsonga to 'self-destruct' and falter, which he did. All Nadal had to do is hold his serve and wait for opportunities to attack on Tsonga's serves. Basically forcing errors out of Tsonga towards the end. He won in straight sets and under 2hrs too. He faces Roddick next, another great server as well. It's going to be a very interesting match. Can't wait!
