2 Years

2 Years. It's been almost 2 years since I last posted here. I've since lost the background picture and almost forgot my password. 2 years on...

Many things have changed in my life. Sadly I'm still single, but doesn't matter. I've started to earn money, been in society for 18 months now. Same job, slight pay rise and still doing the same things. It's become a routine there. Sometimes you hate it, sometimes you enjoy it. At least my CPF is slowly growing. Right, won't talk anymore about work.

Gadget. Most recent changes are that I got a new laptop! Daddy paid for it as usual. So I'm blogging from my new laptop. My old laptop is still functioning, so I can transfer files to the new one. Haven't really gotten to doing it yet. Another gadget change is my Samsung Galaxy S2, considered old though. Still ever faithful to it.

Music. Have also started to listen to radio 913 (or HOT FM) since I started working. My playlists have improved ever since too. I now listen to music everyday without fail. Even on weekends. Sometimes I feel kind of empty without music. English songs mainly though. My latest crave? Nicki Minaj - Va Va Voom. Hilariously, the concerts I've been to are all korean. Super Show 3: 29-30 Jan 2011. Been to both days. SHINee World : 10 Sep 2011. Super Show 4: 19 Feb 2012. Next one - SMTown Live World Tour III: 23 Nov 2012. Bring it on!

Cosmetics. Have also since been addicted to make-up. Did already use them 2 years ago, but maybe not as often as now. I actually enjoy doing make-up, which has to be a good thing. Instead of thinking about it as wasting time, think of it as art on face. Ok, maybe not that arty but I've really increased my make-up stock in these past 2 years. Which leads to the next paragraph.

Household. Changes in my room and house are also in order. I (& daddy) purchased the ALEX 9-drawer set from IKEA for my make-up and nail polish storage. Love it so much. Still got plenty of space to add my make-up collection. This didn't happen in my house but bro has also finished his NS early this Feb. Already in University, so fast, so smart. Living room has the biggest change: New TV (daddy screwed the old one with baby wipes), new TV cabinet/table for all the cable tvs, dvd player, speakers and a PS3. Oh, not to forget a gigantic freezer in the living room as well. So out of place. At least the fish tank hasn't change - still empty.

Travelling. Love travelling. From Oct 2010, I've since been to KL, Phuket, JB, Taipei, & JB in that order. I guess I'm somewhat fortunate. Have also booked a Taiwan trip later in Dec. Great way to round up the year. Can't wait!

Sports. How can I forget about it?! Arsenal still have my deepest support. Frustrating at times, few tears shed, but ultimately I'm hooked. Gooner for life! Cricket - first came across it due to the hype over The Ashes test series between England & Australia in 2010-2011 . In short, I've grown a British interest in their sports therefore am now supporting the England cricket team. Also frustrating at times. Basketball - safe to say I started to support the team that won the NBA title that year. Lakers! Rugby - 2011 World Cup. Enough said. The All Blacks. The mighty All Blacks. The team so far to NOT have frustrated me. Still on a winning streak since winning the World Cup. Mighty indeed. Tennis - Still Rafa! But has been rather quiet and injured this past 2 years. Really hoping to see him at his best again! Vamos Rafa! Olympics 2012. Wow. London made it possible. Made everything magical and made my time watching it so much memorable. The time difference was a little annoying but hey I'm not complaining! Lastly, not really a sport I'm actually interested but have watched the very recent Ryder Cup. That's golf by the way. Tell me again why I'm such a sports junkie. (This is one hell of a paragraph.)

Shopping. Been less likely to shop outside than online. The price is one huge factor, always never seem to be firm and buy things. Yet I can freely purchase goods online. Don't even know how they look like of feel on me, still buy. Well at least it's one-sided right? Having to spend the money I earn is somewhat satisfying. I can actually buy stuff for myself without having to worry I'll have none left in my bank. It's growing!

Friends. To be fair, once you've been with certain friends for that long, change is minimal in terms of our friendships. As strong as ever, even if we do meet up less often. Work and studies take up a bulk of our time, not to mention the odd few with boyfriends. That doesn't change anything. I love my friends dearly, need them more than I think I do. Friendship is easy to strike up, hard to maintain. We all grow old together. So Jia You my dear friends!

Games. Not much of a gaming person myself, but I enjoy watching others play. I enjoy my time laughing and commenting beside bro while he plays the PS3. Any game, so long as his friends are not there, I'll somehow find time to sit and laugh. Fun times. PS3 is rotting for now, my dear bro. On the other hand, been addicted to some iPad games. Become somewhat of a routine as well.

Health. I guess not much difference. Probably gained a few kilo. Less exercise? Maybe I need to change that for the better. Becoming couch potato on weekends. Watching all the sports in't helping me get into sports myself. Maybe need to visit a dentist too. Don't want to go into details the last time I've been to one. Eat more fruits? Dad's naggy motto almost everyday. He is hooked on fruits. All kinds. 2-3 different ones at a time. After every dinner. Yet he's currently sick. Haha.

Meant for this post to be short but how is it possible?
